Established in 2003 by Sir Ray Avery, Medicine Mondiale manages a global network of scientific, clinical and business experts who donate their knowledge and time to develop solutions, to ensure that those in need in the developing world have access to first world healthcare solutions at an affordable price.
Cogito has supported Medicine Mondiale since 2005, by providing technical assistance with the development of its Proteinforte predigested protein formulations to combat acute diarrhea and protein energy malnutrition in developing countries. We are proud to provide tangible support to Sir Ray’s vision of ensuring those in need in the developing world have access to first world healthcare and nutrition solutions. Richard can be described as a serial entrepreneur. His passion is identifying new opportunities and growing them into successful businesses.
With extensive experience in the beverage industry, Richard co-founded Shott Beverages with Tami and Simon Louisson to provide cafes with locally produced coffee and chai latte syrups for Kiwi palates. Twice named in the Deloittes Fast 50, Shott's products are sold in supermarkets and cafes around NZ, as well as in export markets throughout Europe, North America and Asia. Richard engaged Cogito to help Shott with its formulations and technical problem solving from the beginning. This relationship endures today in Richard's newest venture ... Tom and Luke is a range of fresh protein bars made using organic ingredients and NZ Whey Protein Concentrate, without preservatives, additives or artificial flavours. At Cogito, we're excited to continue the journey with him, in our role as sounding board and technical advisor.  |
